Somewhere there is a ex GM executive wishing he could go back in time and make this happen.
Altho in the 70s I probably wouldn’t have sold. Trucks were work vehicles and not much else. Plus can you imagine the gas mileage? It would have to be more powerful than the Suburban, and it would be even heavier with luxury options like A TV in the back , and 30 chrome ash trays.

Back then just the TV would count for half the weight of the truck lol. And imagine the cigar smoke well-off big
family big dads would make in there. Like the Sopranos intro x10.

This actually doesn’t look half bad but we all know 70s GM would’ve just slapped a Wreath and Crest on a ‘Burban and called it a day.
That said, this does kinda make me want to hack up a squarebody and a DeVille and Frankenstein them together. Until I get murdered by the squarebody fans, at least.
